parcels
Øl Research plays an important role in the development and implementation of technology that enables automatic loading and unloading, individual package picking and the exchange of loading information. Our activities in this area encompass the entire process, from purchasing and storage to distribution to the final destination. We use high-tech computer simulations to test and introduce new working methods and production resources.

mail
We also play an important role in the sorting and distribution of mail, whether in digital form or on paper. We aim to improve logistics processes, and have implemented signature recognition technology.

optical character recognition
Machines developed by Øl Research can read hand-written and machine-written letters and numbers automatically. The Postbank uses our OCR software for the automatic transfer of funds from giro documents, and Øl Post uses it to distribute mail to the appropriate addresses. A steadily increasing number of business processes are benefiting from Øl know-how and expertise in the area of OCR technology.
